Dynasty Rankings Updated
Pre-Season Dynasty Ranks ft. My Top 200 + Consensus with Pat Kerrane and Davis Mattek
Hey folks,
Just wanted to drop a dynasty rankings update and give you a run down of what content you can expect over the last couple weeks of the off-season, and the transition to in-season.
Today, just below the paywall is the link for updated Dynasty Rankings. This includes my Top-200 overall and a consensus rankings from myself, Pat Kerrane and Davis Mattek. I have deleted the QB, WR and TE positional sheets from the past update because having them there adds very little value vs. the overall ranks and just causes me more work while possibly confusing you if there are mistakes. I apologize for any inconvenience.
I’ve temporarily hidden my RB tiers because I will provide a full update on that — complete with updated notes on every player, and my standalone, contingent and asset stability classifications — post roster cut-downs.
That leads me to the plan for posts over the next two weeks and in-season:
This week I will wrap up the Hitchhiker’s Guide backfield breakdowns. We have just a handful more to do, plus a post on all the backup options in backfields with clear workhorses. (I expanded the HHG this year to cover dead zone / mid-round backs but I’m not doing any backs in the first two rounds. Luckily, you can read the a terrific article about all the RBs I’m not writing about by Pat Kerrane)
I will conclude the HHG off-season series with my top picks in each round. My tentative goal is to have that out by Friday ahead of your weekend drafts.
My seasonal rankings were updated within the week but I’ll have one final update post roster cut-downs and the first run of waiver claims.
My aforementioned dynasty RB tiers will be done next week.
Time-permitting I will do a mailbag post next week which can feature Best Ball, Dynasty or Redraft questions.
My weekly In-season content is my in-season hitchhiker’s guide in which I’ll mix a rundown of notable usage trends and immediate trade / waiver priorities, with broader discussions of individual running backs, and strategy discussions. I am hoping to also provide a ‘TLDR’ version of the column as an audio podcast for premium subscribers.
I will also mix in dynasty focused articles throughout the season either on individual players or strategy discussions that run with the progression of the year
I will do content for in-season Best Ball tournaments, Best Ball playoff tournaments, and the FFPC playoff challenge
Lastly, I’ll be doing a weekly DFS podcast with Davis Mattek which will be available to all Thinking About Thinking subscribers.
As always, if you have specific requests or questions let me know in the comments. Thank you for supporting me all off-season and I can’t wait to think about thinking with you all season long.
