Updated Rankings
FFPC Redraft and Best Ball
Hey folks,
Just wanted to post a rankings update for you.
As we get more news-based rankings changes into training camp I’ll provide a weekly (at least) update along with a brief explanation for some of the changes:
Malik Nabers (up): I feel content with how I played this one given how poor most of the news had been to this point, but that turned around in a big way when he was left off the pre-season PUP. He’s by no means out of the woods yet. Chris Godwin wasn’t placed on pre-season PUP last year for instance and did not play in Week 1. The most important thing is how close Nabers is this year to what he can be at his peak and there’s no way to be certain of that. But his outlook has clearly improved and he deserves a significant move up. His ranking remains highly sensitive to news moving forward.
Rashee Rice (up): He was cleared to participate in practice which was expected but positive news. I also had an interesting discussion about him on the recent Long View episode and felt compelled to move him up a couple spots.
Braelon Allen (down): According to recent beat reports he’s no longer entrenched as the RB2. That’s very different from what my rank was assuming. I remain inclined to think he will win the job eventually but he now falls into the morass of maybe RB2s in my rankings rather than being an entrenched RB2.
Chris Brazzell II (up): getting immediate reps at X-WR with the first team and making plays.
Antonio Williams (down): reports continue to pile up connecting the Commanders with Stefon Diggs and he hasn’t made waves in the off-season to this point.
Travis Hunter (up): I strongly encourage you to watch this clip.
